Description MAJOR FUNCTIONS:      Under general direction, the Nurse Practitioner is responsible under direction of a physician for providing general medical care, preventative care and treatment to patients in one of the agency’s clinics. This includes diagnosis, treatment, consultation and follow-up care. This individual attends to the patient’s need with the utmost patient care, compassion and understanding. This work is carried out in support of the mission.
