JOB SUMMARY The Nurse Practitioner at North Mississippi Health Services is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients hospital settings while adhering to established standards and protocols. This position is responsible for providing patient education, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring clinical competence through continuing education. The Nurse Practitioner must demonstrate leadership skills to work independently, exercise professional judgment, and maintain effective relationships with colleagues, patients, and families while ensuring high-quality and cost-efficient patient care. This position is expected to take call as well as work evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
