JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Minimum of an Associate degree in an allied health field required. Candidate must meet requirements for registry by the Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonographers. If registry eligible, the ARDMS must be taken and passed within 1 year of employment. Experience Two years experience preferred. Sufficient working knowledge of the different phases of ultrasound including the operation of assigned equipment. Physical Normal hospital environment. Close eye work. Hearing of normal and soft tones. Occasional exposure to chemical hazards. Operates ultrasound machine, computer, and printers. JOB REQUIREMENTS - SIGN ON BONUS OFFERED Education Must be registry eligible (acceptance letter received and present to supervisor) According to the criteria published by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or by Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI). Experience Must meet requirements of ARDMS or CCI to obtain registry eligible status, usually 2 years experience or a graduate from an accredited school of technology.
