Summary GENERAL SUMMARY: Performs diagnostic x-ray procedures under the supervision of a qualified physician. Uses x-ray technology and techniques to assist in the diagnosis of patient medical problems for patients throughout the age continuum. PRINCIPAL JOB FUNCTIONS: 1. Commits to the mission, vision, beliefs and consistently demonstrates our core values. 2. Performs all types of diagnostic x-ray procedures to include radiography, fluoroscopy, portable diagnostic and portable fluoroscopy; practices radiation safety for patients, staff and self. 3. Uses sterile technique as required. 4. Optimally demonstrates patient anatomy through proper positioning and selection of technical factors. 5. Performs venipunctures. 6. Competently operates all diagnostic x-ray equipment and support systems to include HIS, RIS, Scheduling System, PACS and offsite Radiologist Services 7.
