Oversees the department's operation in the absence of a manager. Leads employees to exceed customer expectations ensuring patients are being transported in timely fashion. Makes informed decisions, within established guidelines, to serve customers and employees. Communicates and interacts daily with customers (Nursing, Unit Coordinators, Practice Administrators, patients, public, etc.). Transports patients, specimen, deceased patients and other related transport functions. Cleans transport equipment on a daily basis.
