Overview About the Role The primary purpose of the Ultrasound Technologist is to provide health care services for patients of the University Hospital/ACC through the applications of non-ionizing radiation (in the form of ultrasound). The technologist performs ultrasound procedures for the interpretation of a licensed practitioner. The patient population ranges from newborn to maturity.
