The Radiology Technologist ( WEPP ) will provide diagnostic imaging for patients to assist the patient’s physician in expediting needed care. Job duties include performing or assisting in procedures per department protocols; maintaining a clean and safe work environment; utilizing proper procedures for identifying images, patients, and marking images correctly for interpretation; and ordering exams that match the procedures being performed. Customer service is essential, and this position will address patient needs with age-specific criteria, from neonates to geriatrics. Call is required for this position, and the incumbent must meet the callback standards established for General Radiology. This position will also assist in a QA review to maintain professional standards for themselves and student technologists whom they are called upon to assist.
