Overview Performs at least two or more imaging technologies to assist with the diagnosis of medical conditions, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Responsibilities Operates a variety of imaging machines, such as X-ray, Ultrasound, CT or MRI, according to established safety protocols. Ensures proper patient positioning and imaging techniques. Maintains accurate patient records and imaging data. Monitors imaging equipment for proper functioning. Provides patient education and address any concerns. Qualifications Performs work under direct supervision. Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff. Possesses beginning to working knowledge of subject matter. Typically requires accreditation from a technical school or an applicable skilled trades program and 0 to 2 years of experience. Overview Performs radiologic procedures and assists physicians and radiologists at a technical level not requiring constant supervision of technical detail.  Responsible for special procedures, angiographic procedures, CT scans and related quality control monitoring as assigned.  Ensures patient comfort and safety during procedures.  Ensures a high quality of images produced.  Responsible for availability and sterility of equipment and supplies used for assigned areas.   The technologist will be part of the on call pool. **The CT Technologist may be required to cover inpatient or outpatient areas to include offsite diagnostic locations Qualifications Education: A high school diploma or GED; Graduate of an accredited School of Radiological Science Experience: 2 years’ experience in CT preferred Licenses/Certificates:  Must be ARRT (R) registered.
