DESCRIPTION OF POSITION: The Rad tech assistant is responsible for providing transportation of patients (ages pediatrics to geriatrics) to the Radiology department; also responsible for assisting technologists in performing transfers or ambulation to prevent falls; preparing patients and equipment for therapy and performing tasks to maintain department in orderly condition.
