This position is responsible for leading the operational and human resources for the picture archiving and communication system (PACS). Additionally, this individual will act as a liaison in digital imaging initiatives within the department and other departments and be responsible for departmental QC activities.  The individual is responsible for overseeing and coordinating existing and participation in new PACS and digital imaging initiatives.  DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintains the RIS/PACS system in compliance with the guidelines of the Statewide system. The Cardiovascular Interventional Technologist 2 assists the physician in performing interventional, cardiovascular, and operating room procedures. Produces images to actively assist the attending physician.   Uses pre-established imaging protocols and departmental policy to perform safe operation of imaging equipment and all functions of the job.
