Registered Cardiac Sonographer (Full Time) JOB SUMMARY: Renders professional complex diagnostic procedures to patients undergoing procedures in the Cardiopulmonary Services department. Provides care as directed by the physician, and pursuant to the objectives and policies of the hospital, & Cardiopulmonary Services department. HOURS: Monday-Friday on Day Shift EDUCATION: High School Diploma or Equivalent. Completion of one year (minimum) sonography training; CAHEA approval recommended EXPERIENCE: Two years experience in echocardiography required. Experience in EKG, stress testing, and Holter monitoring is preferred. Experience in other areas of diagnostic medical sonography is preferred. Experience in respiratory therapy is preferred LICENSES, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR REGISTRATIONS: Must possess RDCS credentials from the ARDMS, or RCS from CCI. CPR certification.
