Overview About the Role The primary purpose of the Phlebotomist I, while under the direction of the Supervisor Accession Area Phlebotomy Team, position is to be responsible for collecting blood specimens from patients, processing computerized worksheets, entering orders for laboratory tests into the computer terminal and retrieving data in response to inquiries from clinical units concerning test results. As phlebotomists, ensures proper collection of blood and body fluids and processing of specimens, and additional duties as assigned under the scope of practice.
