SUPERVISION: Reports directly to the Assistant Director of Pathology RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES: Uses Mobile devices according to policy. Use and maintain Mobile devices and Spectralink phones according to policy. Utilizes departmental communication platforms. Meets blood culture contamination rate of < 1.0%, if applicable campus/area. Utilize blood diversion devices. Meets rejected specimen rate of < 2%, if applicable campus/area. Utilizes proper hand washing. Assists clerks with receiving specimens, answering the phone and other duties when available. Meets established turnaround times for STAT, In AM, Timed, and routine orders....
