Overview Performs repetitive and complex laboratory analyses.  Correlates and interprets laboratory data based on knowledge of physiological conditions affecting test results.  Designs, evaluates and implements new methods.  Supervises a laboratory section/shift in the absence of the supervisor. Qualifications Education:  Certification from a nationally recognized credentialing agency, i.e., ASCP, AMT or AAB within  6 months of hire.  Recertification is required every 3 years if certification was obtained on 1/1/2004 or after.  Certification does not expire for individuals certified prior to 1/1/2004.
