CHIEF MEDICAL PHYSICIST Under the direction of the Radiology Director and the Chief of Radiation Oncology, provides professional medical physics for the Radiation Oncology service. Assumes a lead position in planning and establishing a treatment planning and dosimetry service. Evaluates and interprets medical radiation treatment prescriptions. Collaborates with radiation oncologists in the design and modification of effective radiation treatments for patients; oversees and monitors treatment plans developed by dosimetrists, and establishes an effective quality assurance program for the service.
