JOB REQUIREMENTS Education One year of phlebotomy preferred. More technical aspects require sufficient combination of education and experience to perform some job duties. Experience On-the-job training under direct supervision of qualified technicians, technologists, or peer trainers with certification by successful completion of training checklist. The more technical aspects are underlined and require the demonstrated ability to perform as a phlebotomy laboratory assistant in a clinical laboratory.
