Position Highlights The Medical Assistant/Phlebotomist assists the laboratory staff by performing venipunctures, fingersticks, heelsticks, collection of swabs, instrument maintenance, filing, charging, and other tasks as needed and assigned. REQUIRED EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification; or Phlebotomy Technician training completion from a state endorsed, program accredited college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred but not required.
