Must successfully meet required performance standards of competency and proficiency testing. Performs primary screening of cytology slides with accuracy. Has similar pick-up rates for abnormalities and error rates do not exceed thresholds. Performs immediate adequacy evaluations for aspirate and touch prep slides. Accurately uses computer system to record all procedures that are performed and to enter interpretations for reports.
