Job Summary :   Perform all required duties to safely collect blood specimens from all patient populations.   Accurately label, transport and perform pre-analytical processes to accession specimens into laboratory processes.   Clerical duties may include demographic patient registration, clerical order entry, specimen transport documentation and packaging of specimens for transport. Qualifications:     High school diploma or equivalent.  Completed phlebotomy course with clinical rotation required.  Three (3) months phlebotomy experience preferred; certification preferred.  Considerable ability to work directly with patients.  Considerable ability to follow specified blood drawing techniques and ability to perform functions with high degree of accuracy and timeliness. Job Summary:   Assist in areas of the laboratory including but not limited to: Anatomic Pathology, Core laboratory, and Microbiology. Processes, and labels specimens in accordance with laboratory policies. Prepares various samples, such as blood, urine, tissue, and other specimen types for testing.  Gathers data and statistics for reports, processes samples for referral testing.  Tracks status of patient reports from referral laboratories. Responsible for general laboratory tasks such as but not limited to reagent preparation, inventory management, receiving and storing of reagents, set up of waived testing, and loading samples on appropriate laboratory equipment, instrument maintenance under the supervision of a section manager or delegate. Job Summary:   Performs diversified laboratory tests and procedures in the assigned section(s) of the laboratory.  Performs pre-analytical, analytical and post analytical procedures under minimal supervision.   Qualifications :    MLT -   At least two years of college education and graduation from an approved MLT program or equivalent. Certification or equivalent is preferred if hired prior to 3/1/2024; required within 12 months for those hired/transferred into this position on or after 3/1/2024.   No prior experience required for graduate of approved MLT program (certification eligible). Some knowledge of laboratory testing procedures.  Some skill in performing various laboratory procedures and collecting specimens.   Good customer service skills.
