We are currently seeking a (1) Full-Time Nuclear Med Tech for our Belleville Location!! $15,000 sign-on bonus!!! Job Summary: Under the direction of the Radiologist, the Nuclear Medicine Technologist independently performs a variety of routine and complex nuclear medicine scans utilizing radiopharmaceuticals for the purpose of evaluating and diagnosing abnormalities. Functions and Duties: Responsible for receipt, storage, handling and use of radioactive material doses. Administers diagnostic radiopharmaceuticals. Reviews physician order and collects patient history. Performs imaging procedures on a gamma camera and post processing functions.. Coordinates stress test imaging with the cardiopulmonary dept. Quality control testing on the camera , dose calibrator, room and survey meters is required. Coordinates patient information with PACS and EMR to save data and radiation dose....
