The ChristianaCare Laboratory located on the Cecil campus in Elkton, MD, is currently recruiting for a Casual Medical Laboratory Scientist/Technician on an as needed basis. The work hours could be evening shift (3pm - 11:30pm) or night shift (11pm - 7:30am.) Responsibilities: Accurately performs all test procedures as listed in the procedure manual. Performs and records all scheduled instrument preventative maintenance procedures. Follows established quality control procedures, documenting corrective action if necessary. Adheres to all turnaround times, documents calls as necessary, verifies critical values and specimen identification.
