The Technical Supervisor is responsible for the technical and administrative management, which may include the chemistry laboratory, including general chemistry assays and immunoassays, hematology, coagulation, and urinalysis, and specimen processing. This position is under the direction of the Administrative Director and the Medical Director. The position provides technical supervision on site, and is responsible for the proper performance of all assays performed by staff working in the clinical laboratory. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements as they pertain to the laboratory. In addition, the supervisor demonstrates compliance with all elements of the DFCI Code of Conduct and Ethical Behavior.
