Job Summary :  The Emergency Medicine Resident, supervised by the Pharmacy Clinical Manager/Pharmacy Residency Coordinator/Residency Program Director and other staff pharmacists will undergo a 1 year, intensive pharmaceutical care training program designed to provide the Resident with the skills necessary to be an effective and self-motivating health-system ED pharmacist.  The Emergency Medicine Resident will also routinely serve as a clinical staff pharmacist: providing a wide variety of duties to help meet the pharmaceutical needs of the hospital and its patients and providing drug related services to physicians and staff.  The Resident will work as a pharmacy intern under supervision of a licensed pharmacist until licensure obtained.
