Emergency Department work hours will be rotating, variable hours consisting of variable length shifts to meet 80 hours/2weeks. Additional hours may be scheduled by mutual agreement to meet the clinical needs of the department. Duties include provision of emergencies and urgent treatment to patients that have illnesses within the scope of practice of Emergency Medicine, General Internal Medicine, and Family Practice. Consulting services will be utilized as necessary. Some patent care visits may be remote if physician is assigned to cover tele-EC duty. Further duties required of the position can be discussed at the time of interview. Emergency Medicine Physicians must be qualified to diagnose, treat, stabilize, and manage Emergency Department and Hospital patents according to standard, usual, and acceptable methods, and techniques.
