The Department of Emergency Medicine within the University of Missouri, School of Medicine is a dynamic, rapidly expanding department, with multiple opportunities to provide high-quality care to patients throughout Missouri. Our highly skilled Advanced Practice Professionals currently provide care in numerous clinical settings including MU Health Care's Level I Trauma Center Emergency Department, several rural Community Emergency departments, Urgent Care facilities, ED Observation unit, and the Occupational Medicine clinic. Our process is to deliver the best care in the least amount of time to ensure all patients served receive excellent and compassionate care as fast and as smooth as possible.

The University of Missouri School of Medicine, Department of Emergency Medicine is seeking board-certified or board-eligible pediatric emergency medicine physicians who are enthusiastic, collaborative, and committed to advancing pediatric care in central Missouri. Our private 16-bed pediatric emergency department, featuring two large procedural bays, is designed for the resuscitation of critically ill and injured children. We collaborate closely with a multitude of pediatric subspecialties, including PICU, NICU, pediatric surgery, neurosurgery, orthopedics, infectious disease, and hematology/oncology. Serving Columbia's urban metro area and over 20 surrounding rural counties, our team provides comprehensive care to a wide-ranging patient demographic.
