The Carle Foundation is a vertically integrated healthcare system with almost 17,000 employees, a multi-specialty physician group, eight hospitals, and health plans. Carle also collaborates extensively with the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (Illinois) in a number of initiatives.
