Overview: The Clinical Education Coordinator is responsible for the effective and reliable delivery of unit-based clinical learning and training of imaging residents in their respected modality. Directs, coordinates, and oversees the education-related work within Imaging Services. Ensures that the entity's unit-based learning and development activities follow established roles and guidelines. In partnership with the Manager of Imaging Clinical Education, the coordinator will recruit, train, and coach imaging residents. Ability to perform support activities in patient care as required through completion of an approved Vo-Tech program or certified as a Nurse Aide through the Office of Long Term Care, graduate of the SBMC PCT program, or after completion of an RN/LPN Nursing Student Skills Checklist completed by their nursing instructor. Candidates must be currently enrolled in an approved program to utilize the RN/LPN Nursing Student Skills Checklist. PCT experience within the last year will be considered in lieu of formal training.
