Job Summary: Demonstrates through behavior Decatur Morgan Hospital’s mission, vision and values. The School Teacher, under the supervision of the Clinical Services manager, provides pediatric patients with daily educational curriculum for children and adolescents as part of the Educational Services Program at Decatur Morgan Hospital. Additionally, this individual facilitates the requirements of participation in the Specialized Treatment Center Endorsement of the Alabama State Department of Education through coordinating enrollment in the STC and assisting pediatric patients with various educational and learning needs. The School Teacher serves as an integral member of the interdisciplinary team.
