Overview Provides assistance by transporting patients within the department, to nursing units and to ancillary departments. In partnership with nursing, assists in providing 1:1 direct observation of patients on suicide precautions. Qualifications Education:  High school diploma or GED required.   License, Certification and/or Registration: BLS for Healthcare Providers must be obtained in the orientation period   Experience: Prior medical and/or customer service experience preferred . Previous patient care preferred.   Additional Skills/Abilities:   Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment and changing tasks frequently.  Must be familiar with emergency procedures, legal requirements and standard nursing procedures.
