Job Description: The Registered Dietitian Specialist facilitates the nutrition care process in specialty care areas or specialized populations with a moderate degree of autonomy, using experience-based knowledge, nutrition assessment, and diagnostic reasoning skills and competencies. Posting Specifics Pay Rate: Based on Experience (Range) Shift Details: This role follows a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday schedule (Thursdays off) and is based at Cottonwood Endocrine and Diabetes. There are no nights, holidays, or on-call requirements. After 3–6 months of training and panel development, we can support one remote workday per week. Overview About the Role The primary purpose of the Registered Dietitian position is to assess and intervene with Infants, Children, Adolescents and Young Adult (New born-26 years) clients, for nutritional risk and education requirements. Responsibilities What You’ll Do Performs nutrition assessments in the time frame consistent with the N.J. State Health Code and/or policy and procedure for designated subunits, and triages clients into appropriate level of care to determine time frame for follow-up intervention and intensity of nutritional care required. Documents all nutritional care provided to clients in the medical chart using the S.O.A.P format or as outlined in the policy and procedure for designated subunits.
