SUMMARY OF JOB:   This position is responsible for performing a variety of tasks associated with Dietary cooking in a hospital environment.  Hours to include days, nights and weekends REPORTING RELATIONSHIP:  Reports to Dietary Manager, Kitchen PRIMARY DUTIES: Performs a variety of general duties including preparation, cooking, simple calculations, delivering and recording of food products. Ability to keep up with work flow, possesses dexterity needed in preparation/cooking procedures, and has good communication with the elderly and family. Employee must be able to visit with residents in absence of Dietary Manager to determine food tolerance and acceptance.
