SUMMARY
Prepares and cleans up meals for patients, employees, customers and special events by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Maintains standards of quality food production with portion control and handles food in accordance with established sanitary standards.
Checks and verifies patient census and correct diet when in job classification.
Assists with patient room service by answering the phone, taking food orders, placing the orders with the cook, preparing and filling patient side items and delivering the meals to inpatient area and to OB patients.
Operates dishwashing machine in a safe and efficient manner.
Fills condiments and paper products and restocks the retail area, break rooms, coffee stations.
