DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The Registered Dietitian is responsible for nutrition screening, assessment, diagnosis, intervention, monitoring, evaluation, and plan of care of individual residents as per Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics ("AND") current scope of practice and applicable facility standards, policies and procedures. The Registered Dietitian completes required nutrition assessments per facility MDS schedule and Section K and other sections as appropriate, along with CAAs as indicated. The Registered Dietitian makes appropriate nutrition recommendations for individual residents that address nutrition problems as identified within the nutrition diagnosis.
