JOB SUMMARY: Under the direct supervision of the Food Services Lead, the Food Service worker performs a variety of patient, employee, and guest food production, portioning, service and dish room duties, as well as other related tasks. POSITION SUMMARY: Oversee the nutritional well-being of clients by conducting nutrition assessments, identifying patients at risk, creating diet plans, and analyzing the effectiveness of interventions. Maintains cycle menu plans and recipes. Provides oversight and adequate consultation, in maintaining standards set by the federal and state agencies for the food and nutrition department. Participates in Performance Improvement and other clinical committee meetings.
