Position Highlights Department: Dieticians Hours: Per Diem Position Summary: The Registered Clinical Dietitian (RD) plans, delivers and directs the nutritional care of patients in accordance with allied health professional’s diagnoses, while complying with the requirements of regulatory agencies. The dietitian functions as a member of the multidisciplinary healthcare team to develop, coordinate, implement and evaluate nutritional care plans for inpatients. Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Nutrition/Dietetics or related field. Hold active registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration as a Registered Dietitian (or have coursework and field work complete to be deemed Registered Dietitian Eligible, RDE, by CDR) Must hold current licensure from the State of Connecticut as a Certified-Dietitian/Nutritionist.
