Days and Shifts:
Varied days from 11 AM – 7:30 PM, as needed
Description:
Prepares and cooks meals for patients, employees and visitors using established recipes, formulas, and menu cycles
Confers with Nutritional Services Manager or Dietitian regarding food needs, modified diets, menu changes, etc.
Operates commercial and large-scale cooking equipment and appliances
Requirements
Educational/Experience:
Institutional cooking/food preparation experience helpful
Ability to understand and follow written and verbal directions as given
Ability to work with minimal supervision and give close attention to detail
Modified Dietary Certification, or achievement of same within 90 days of employment
Mandatory Abuse Reporter Certification within 6 months of employment
Dependable and responsible
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English well
