The Clinical Dietitian will be responsible for:
Practicing as an expert in the application of the nutrition care process and theory.
Documents in the medical record using the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ standardized language as part of the Nutrition Care Process.
Performing nutrition assessments and identifying nutrition diagnoses; recommending and implementing nutrition care plans based on evidence-based practice. Identifies appropriate nutrition diagnosis and malnutrition criteria. Identifies age-specific physical, psychosocial and cultural needs when carrying out patient activities.
