Facility is seeking Family Medicine to join our team- Duties include to provide high-quality family medicine services to patients using facilities, equipment and support services provided- Requires a Maine physicians license and Board certified/Board eligible by the American Board of Family Medicine.

The primary responsibility of the hospitalist or inpatient physician specialist is to providegeneral medical and pediatric care to inpatients and selected outpatients (e.g., when consultationis requested by an Emergency Department physician to help determine patient=s disposition, whenconsultation is requested in Surgical Services or the Post Anesthesia Care Unit by a surgeon oranesthesia practitioner for an outpatient). Such care includes obtaining a history from patientsand examination, diagnosis, treatment, and overall coordination of care of general medical andpediatric patients as assigned.Schedule and WorkloadPhysician shall generally work 7-day consecutive shifts (primarily day, but may include somenight shifts) to meet operational needs on a rotating 7 on 7 off schedule.Average of 2-5 new admissions or consults per shift.
