Responsibilities The primary purpose of the Patient Care Technician (Certified) position is to be responsible for the delivery of safe, quality patient/family focused care and services under the direction of a Professional Registered Nurse. The Patient Care Technician (Certified) is a member of a designated care team and collaborates with team members in achieving goals. Patient care is provided congruent with the patient/family developmental stage and cultural expectations.
