Job Summary: Provide patient care services. Perform examinations, diagnose, treat, and help prevent diseases and injuries that commonly occur amongst patients. May refer patients to specialists when needed for further diagnosis or treatment. Responsibilities: Conduct physical examinations, assess symptoms, and diagnose and treat health conditions for tribal and community members in a culturally sensitive manner. Maintain and update patient records, including histories, test results, and consultations with patients and other medical professionals. Order, interpret, and analyze medical diagnostic tests to determine patient conditions. Perform minor procedures, such as treating lacerations and skin conditions, and provide care during pregnancy and childbirth.
