Overview: Mental Health Tech, Emergency Dept, PRN Days *Hospital Behavioral Health experience highly preferred Piedmont Eastside Medical Center- Emergency Dept We are looking for positive, self-motivated, engaged and excited for growth individuals to join our team 38 bed Emergency Department that sees on average 160 patients a day that present with various acuities. We are a primary Stroke and Stemi receiving facility that is able to intervene and administer thrombolytics. Two helicopter pads on campus for utilization We have 5 PODs in our department, depending on acuity, is where the patient will be assigned Behavioral Health Pod We have Charge nurses, ED Flow Coordinators, Paramedics, ED Techs, PCTs, Mental Health Technicians and Unit Secretaries who work in close collaboration with the ED Providers to provide exceptional care All staff members must have a BLS to work in this unit.
