JOB SUMMARY
The Activities Assistant at North Mississippi Health Services is responsible for supporting the activity program under the guidance of the nursing team and Occupational Therapist(s) to provide high quality and efficient patient care. This includes delivering personal care to patients and collaborating to plan, implement, and assess programming and patient conditions. This role operates under the supervision of nursing and Occupational Therapy providers and engages strong organizational and communication skills to manage area supplies and equipment, maintain accurate and comprehensive documentation, and interface effectively and professionally with staff and patients to support provision of a high quality patient experience.
