Description Position Summary The Correctional Medical Physician at Essex County Correctional Facility, located in newark NJ, serves as the lead physician at a designated correctional facility, overseeing and managing medical program activities in alignment with CFG Health Systems' goals, objectives, and industry standards. The physician ensures high-quality inmate patient care, collaborates with the Health Services Administrator, and acts as a liaison between correctional officials, public agencies, and the company. Description POSITION SUMMARY The Physician located at Camden County DOC will primarily be responsible for being the lead physician at one of our correctional institutions, with duties such as managing and evaluating the medical program activities based on the company goals, objectives, and philosophy according to industry standards and contractual obligations. The Medical Physician will also function as liaison between correctional officials, public agencies, and the company as part of this role. The Medical Physician collaborates with the Health Services Administrator to ensure effective inmate patient care delivery and achievement of desired patient outcomes, while maintaining the established guidelines.
