Overall Responsibility: This position manages the direction of patient care in the facility. Consults with staff and physicians about problems and interpretation of facility policies and procedures to ensure that patient needs are met. Responsible for staffing, orientation, clinical education, competency evaluation, policies and procedures related to the Facility. Establishes guidelines to identify the professional qualifications and skill required for employment for Pre-op, PACU, and OR. Executes nursing care in all areas for patients of all ages to ensure that the patients receive the highest quality of safe care.
