JOB SUMMARY The Radiology Supervisor at North Mississippi Health Services is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the activities of clerical staff, radiology technologists, and radiologic technology students. They ensure the accurate and timely performance of procedures, proper maintenance of equipment and supplies, and effective communication with staff, patients, and physicians. As a supervisor, this role oversees and guides a team of employees to ensure efficient task completion, promoting teamwork and effective coordination. Supervises and coordinates the activities of the clerical staff, Staff Technologist and Radiologic Technology Students. Evaluates and provides feedback regarding individual and team performance. Recommends merit increases and corrective actions for staff within scope of responsibility. Ensures that procedures are performed accurate and in a timely manner. Ensures that equipment/supplies are maintained and used properly. Communicate effectively with staff, patients and physicians as required. Stays abreast of the latest advances and procedures in radiology. Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures Guidelines. Ensure a smooth and efficient operation of 3-11 PM shift.
