The Nursing Technician supports the Registered Nurse through observing and documenting patient conditions. Working under close supervision, this role assists with patient support through progressive mobility and assistance with daily tasks as needed. The Nurse Tech Academy (NTA) is a unique educational opportunity designed to support Nurse Techs and EMTs with the transition to the culture of Cone Health. This 3-week program is developed for Nurse Techs and EMTs to experience didactic, active learning that will prepare them to meet the needs of their various assigned departments. The curriculum is taught by subject matter experts to provide a rich understanding of relevant content to your practice environment.
