Urgent Care Clinician (MD or NP) Maryland Location: Maryland Start: ASAP Duration: Ongoing Schedule: PRN shifts. Typical schedule is 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM. Minimum commitment of 6 to 8 shifts per month. Openings: 1 Travel and Lodging: Limited. Lodging may be available for consecutive work days and mileage may be reimbursed after 60 miles round trip. Position Overview Urgent Care coverage with ongoing PRN shifts Solo provider model with MA support (some locations may also have RN or LPN support) Clinical Details Setting: Urgent Care Typical cases: general urgent care including physicals and common procedures such as incision and drainage, suturing, digital blocks, pelvic exams, ingrown toenail or nail removal, burn care, fluorescein exam, joint reduction, EKG interpretation, and radiology interpretation Patient volume: 20 to 40 patients per 12 hours (up to 4 patients per hour) Ages: 2 and up EMR: Experity (Velocidoc) Required Qualifications Board Certified DEA NPDB self query required...
