Under general supervision of the Anesthesia Provider, Anesthesia Manager or a designee and following established procedures, the Lead Anesthesia Technician assures the quality of service and monitoring for patients undergoing anesthesia in all anesthetizing locations throughout the hospital.  Maintains, services, sets up, tests, and troubleshoots equipment and provides technical assistance to the Anesthesia staff in the care of patients. Assumes supervisory responsibility for the department on a daily basis at the request of or in the absence of the Anesthesia Manager.
