Overview This position is assigned to the Surgery Center campus. The CRNA /CAA cares for patients at all acuity levels across the lifespan in a variety of settings for procedures including, but not limited to, surgical, obstetrical, diagnostic, therapeutic, and pain management. Overview Anesthesia Technician supports the anesthesiologist and nurse anesthetist by preparing and setting up appropriate equipment and supplies for each surgical case.  Assists in coordinating preventive maintenance on anesthia equipment with GE, BioMed, and Maintenance departments.  Also performs clerical work for the department.  Responsibilities Facilitates preparation of necessary anesthesia equipment. Washes, disinfects, and assembles instruments in preparation for sterilization. Maintains ordering and stocking of anesthesia supplies in surgical suite including anesthesia workroom, carts, and pre-op holding area.
