Job Summary The Nursing Supervisor is responsible for the oversight and coordination of patient care services.  Through direct supervision and coordination, the Nursing Supervisor will ensure safe and therapeutic care is provided to the patients of Visiting Nurse Association of Utica and Oneida County (VNA)  in compliance with New York State (NYS) Department of Health (DOH) licensure guidelines, the Nurse Practice Act, agency policies and procedures, and industry established best practices.   The Nursing Supervisor provides direct supervision to the clinical staff providing care in the home.
